Geocoord / MGRS Overlay

AEGIS places public U.S. mission and access-relevant points into the operating picture.

The overlay gives users rapid orientation to public U.S. embassy, consulate, and known public installation markers while keeping the correct safety posture: verify official instructions, hours, access rules, and emergency procedures before movement.

Mission Pins

Embassy and consulate markers display public-source geocoordinates, MGRS, source link, and verification note.

Installation Pins

Known public U.S. installation markers are labeled access-controlled and never treated as a substitute for embassy emergency routing.

Operational Trace

Each marker includes source posture, official link, MGRS, latitude/longitude, and a movement verification caveat.

Field use doctrine

  • Use the overlay for rapid orientation, not as final movement authority.
  • Prioritize public embassy and consulate emergency guidance for U.S. citizen emergencies.
  • Treat public U.S. military installations as access-controlled and non-consular unless official instructions say otherwise.
  • Verify current address, hours, appointment posture, curfew, road access, and after-hours emergency routing before movement.
  • Retain MGRS and lat/lon to support planner products, export packets, and AEGIS OS queries.
